Setting up a custom LUT
- In APE, copy
luts_t7_defaultmaterial andimg_luts_t7_zm_factoryinto a new GDT with unique names - Update the material with the new image name
- Open the directory of the existing image,
Call of Duty Black Ops III/texture_assets/t7_lutscreate a copy of the file with a unique name, and open it - Save everything in APE Ctrl + S
- In Radiant, deselect everything Escape and set the
lutmaterialto the material name you created - Open your maps folder in
Call of Duty Black Ops III/usermaps, open your.zonefile inzone_sourceor open it from the Mod Tools Launcher by right clicking your map - Replace
material,luts_t7_defaultwith your new material, keeping thematerial,prefix
Editing your custom LUT
- Open your new texture in your photo editor of choice
- Edit however you'd like. If you don't know what to change, try:
If you don't see any changes after saving, try restarting Radiant
LUT Indexes
LUT Indexes are vertical strips in the LUT, typically 32 pixels tall. They allow you to use multiple LUTs per map.
To change your LUT index via CSC, you can use SetLutScriptIndex
